Export the blocklist when you need a full list of the invalid contacts Maestra is blocking from your sends — for audits, troubleshooting deliverability, or cross-checking against another system.

How to export the blocklist

Open the customers list

Go to DataCustomers.

Start the export

Open the menu and select Export blocklist.

Wait for the export task

Maestra creates an export task. When it finishes, open the data file from the link provided.

Fields in the exported file

FakeContactCustomFieldSystemNameSystem identifier name. Populated for ExternalIdentity contacts.

FakeContactDescriptionReason the contact was added. See below.

Possible values for FakeContactDescription

  • Basic invalid contacts list — the contact belongs to the built-in list of invalid contacts.
  • Edit/merge limit exceeded (N times per hour) — the contact was added because the edit or merge limit was exceeded N times within an hour.
  • Bulk operation — Blocklist import. Task ID N — the contact was added through a bulk blocklist import; N is the import task ID.

What to expect for older entries

For contacts added before December 20, 2023 through an import or because a limit was exceeded, the time added and the reason for inclusion are not displayed in the export.
For contacts in the basic invalid contacts list:
  • The reason is always displayed.
  • The addition time corresponds to the project’s creation date and is only displayed for projects created after December 20, 2023.
