Web push campaigns can be sent to customers who have an active web push subscription and at least one device that allows notifications to be shown.
  • The device must have permission granted on the site that the push is being sent from.
  • If the campaign is sent by topic, the subscription must be for that specific topic.
The filter described in this article is applied to the campaign automatically. You do not need to enter it manually in the recipients block of the campaign.
The instructions below help you estimate the approximate number of customers who can receive your web push communications.

Build the filter

  1. Go to DataCustomers.
  2. Build a filter using the criteria below.
To find everyone eligible to receive a web push, combine the following conditions:
  • The customer has an active subscription to web push communications (and to the specific topic, if your campaign targets a topic).
  • The customer has at least one device with notification permission granted on the site you are sending from.
Once the filter is applied, the customer list shows the approximate audience size you can reach with a web push campaign.
