Sometimes you need to change the status of a discount card — for example, to deactivate a card that was issued by mistake, suspend a lost card, or reactivate a card that a customer has recovered. In Maestra, you can change a discount card’s status directly from the customer’s profile.
This guide walks through how to change the status of an activated discount card to inactive. The same steps apply when switching between any other available statuses.
Steps
Open the customer's profile
Find the customer whose discount card you want to update and open their profile.
Go to the Discount cards tab
Inside the customer’s profile, switch to the Discount cards tab. You’ll see every discount card linked to that customer, along with each card’s current status.
Open the status menu
Locate the card you want to update and open its menu to change the status.
Select the new status and apply
Choose the status you want to assign to the card, then click the apply button to save the change.
Result
The discount card’s status is updated immediately and reflected in the customer’s profile. From this point on, the card behaves according to its new status — for instance, an inactive card will no longer be usable for purchases or loyalty operations until it is reactivated.
If you need to update the status of many discount cards at once, use a bulk import instead of changing each card individually.
