This guide explains how to add a pool of multi-use promo codes to a promotion and configure it so that each customer can only redeem the code once.

Create a pool of promo codes

Create a pool of promo codes following the standard pool creation instructions. Set the following options:
  • Processing: Maestra
  • Promo code type: Multi-use
The pool must be in the Ready to use status before you can attach it to a promotion.

Create a discount promotion

Create a new discount promotion and select the benefit you want to offer in the Products or Order contents section.

Attach the pool in Availability conditions

Open the Availability conditions section of the promotion and select the pool you created in step 1.Once the pool is attached, a link to this promotion will appear on the pool’s page under the Usage section.

Set a personal usage limit

Open the Limits section and set a personal limit on the number of times the promo code can be triggered per customer. To allow each customer to use the code only once, set this limit to 1.

Launch the promotion

Activate the promotion to make it available to customers.
