Use bulk action import when you need to record customer activity (such as offline purchases, loyalty events, or imported behavioral data) for many customers at once.

Run the import

  1. Go to Data > Actions and click Import.
  2. Select the Customer action import operation. A sample template is available for download on the right side of the screen.
  3. Prepare your file. At minimum, include one column with customer identifiers (for example, email).
If your file contains only one column of identifiers (like email addresses), you can set the point of contact and action time directly in the operation settings instead of including them in the file.

Fill in the following fields:

Integration pointSelect the integration point that fits your task.
Point of contactDetermined by the integration point, or set manually or in the file.
ActionPick the action template. If the right template doesn’t exist yet, create one first.
Click Add task.

After submitting

A link to the task appears so you can track its progress. Once the task finishes, the imported actions show up on each customer’s card.
